🏆 Download my FREE 8-page guide, "1:1 Mastery for Employees," here: www.risevale.com/fg1
🚨 Fellow introverts (and interested extroverts) 🚨
If you aren’t getting your voice heard at work and you’re not commanding the respect you deserve, you could spend your entire career wondering what you’re doing wrong, or worse, not even knowing that there’s anything you can do, but there is!
Are you feeling...
** Overlooked and undervalued at work?
** Passed over for promotion in favor of lesser performing but more charming colleagues?
** Misunderstood by management, who don't seem to take you seriously?
Learn how to become respected and have a voice while remaining true to your introverted self. In this video, I define "introversion" and how it impacts our career and professional life before outlining 7 powerful tips to command the same level of respect as extroverts and concluding with a special bonus tip for those who are really serious about their careers
You’ll learn from an experienced executive with decades of experience as a practitioner, leader, coach, and mentor. I'm sharing what I learned the "hard way", having come up from packing boxes on a factory floor to a rewarding executive career.
I'm on a mission to help YOU go further, faster-whether you're new to all of this, found yourself in a management position, pushing to get ahead, or simply trying to be the best you can be.

    I am starting a new job with a new organisation in a couple of days and I am so pleased I have found you. I have watched your series on starting a new job several times and have made notes. I am determine to put as much of it into practice as I can and I am confident it will put me in a much better position than my usual approach of, as you say, letting things happen to me and hoping for the best. I will check back at the evening my first 90 days (in case anybody is interested) and let you know how I got on. Thank you again! 😊

    For anyone curious, in case you are wondering what the acronym SIPOC stands for. SIPOC stands for Suppliers, Inputs, Process, Outputs, and Customers. It is a business process mapping technique that helps to identify the key elements of a process from start to finish. Here's what each component represents: Suppliers: The entities (individuals, organizations, or systems) that provide the inputs necessary for the process. Inputs: The materials, information, or resources that are required to execute the process. Process: The series of steps or activities that convert the inputs into outputs. Outputs: The products, services, or results that are produced by the process. Customers: The end users or recipients of the outputs of the process. SIPOC is often used during process improvement initiatives, such as Six Sigma or Lean, to provide a high-level overview of a process and ensure all critical components are considered.

      Consider looking for another job. Either your direct supervisor or the organization is not invested in your development so, while you're currently employed, look for another department or entity to invest in. Good luck!

    Showing up is a big part of success. I’m an operations manager at Amazon and we have so many Area Managers that go on leave of absence for one reason or another. I worked in the oilfield prior with a lot more stress and people rarely went on leave. Amazon does a terrible job hiring Area Managers. They hire cheer leaders not people who understand the operation and how to deal with people.

    • @ginadelsasso288
      @ginadelsasso288 18 днів тому

      I hate cheer leaders... I want a leader who will get their hands dirty. I hope to be that kind of leader as well. Being more hands on seems like a theme here. Being more present and available.

    how pareto chart deal with negative values ?

    • @risrcareers
      @risrcareers Місяць тому

      Normally, Pareto works with positive numbers, like the number of times something happens. If you have negative values (like losing points instead of gaining them), you can still use a Pareto chart, but it might look a bit strange. Here's a simple way you might be able to deal with it: 1. Separate Negatives and Positives: Make two charts - one for positive values and one for negative values. 2. Flip the Negatives: Treat negative values like positive ones, but show them going down instead of up. This way, you can see which negative things are most important and need fixing, just like you see which positive things are most important. Hope that helps!

      @@risrcareers I'm a "best" that has recently been promoted to managing. Over the past 7 years, I have really worked on my leadership skills with varying forms of training, studying, and of course practicing among my peers. My boss has noticed these traits and has wanted to take advantage of them and develop them even more. In doing so, my old position has become available for a new person to come in that will bring a fresh way of thinking. This will, in time, spur positive growth and changes with new ideas and thought processes. In summary, it's just a natural progression of growth that will net more positive returns in the future. Much like introducing a change in a weight loss plan when the plateau has been reached.
